The Introduction to Management - Level 3 University Foundation Program, is a 60 credit qualification (Equivalent to one A-Level), aimed at students, who are looking at gaining entry to Universities as well as team leaders with experience in managerial roles, looking at climbing the corporate ladder. The course also provides an entry-level qualification for those who have completed Business studies, at Level 2 or 3 and wish to gain skills and competencies for employment in a management setting due to its unique design to provide a broader spectrum of knowledge required for effective management, while still focusing on key management areas specific to their workplace.
In today’s high-tech, a high paced business environment that needs to respond to the rapidly changing needs of the industry, there seems to be a gap that seeks to be bridged to achieve the potential Organizational success. The Industry thus recognizes and further recommends quality training in Leadership and Management to facilitate growth in business and thereby the economy. Effective communication and the ability to inspire and lead are commonly the crucial skills people lack.
This Introduction to Management, Level-3 University Foundation Program comprises of 6 modules and 6 written assignments. Each module consists of approximately 40 guided learning hours of material with an additional 30-50 hours’ worth of optional materials that comprise of recommended exercises, recommended readings, Internet resources, and self-testing exercises. Through the course of the Diploma, students will have access to various study resources, such as tutor support and webinars, a social learning forum and additional materials to help in the completion of their graduate business course.
Upon completion of this course, students receive an ATHE Level 3 Diploma in ‘Introduction to Management‘ which is fully regulated by OFQUAL.
Students will then have the opportunity to apply for admission into a full Undergraduate Degree program from a range of universities in the UK. Alternatively, students can opt to study our Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management and then go on to complete an Undergraduate Top Up at a range of universities in the UK.
This course is most suited to individuals who are at least 16 years old, have a high school education and wish to progress onto a degree at university, or the Undergraduate Level 4/5 Extended Diploma in Management with Mortha Halls of Ivy.
The fee for enrolling onto the level 3 course is £1300.

An Introduction to Finance
This unit introduces learners to practical accounting and financial reporting techniques used by managers in business organizations.
An Introduction to Leadership Skills
The aim of this unit is to provide the learner with an introduction to leadership skills, and how they can be identified and developed, and to show the importance of providing motivation for others.
Managing Business Operations
The aim of this unit is to introduce learners to key aspects of all businesses and how they operate within the wider business environment, as well as internally. Operational control and the provision of best practice and sound policy will be shown to facilitate organizational excellence.
To understand aspects of an organization’s culture and their effects on its activities and its management, as well as the significance of an ethical business approach.
Working in Teams
To understand the role played by teams within organizations and how the human elements interact. The unit also examines the value of team and group working, and how these are formed and work together.
To understand that workforce welfare ensures that everybody employed within the organization is valued and that there are benefits to be gained from being part of the organization.
The ATHE Level 3 Diploma in Business has 6 modules and 6 written assignments. On completion of the modules, students will be given access to the assignments. The assignments are approximately 5000-8000 words each. Students are provided support on the modules and assignments via the ‘Tutor’ section of the learning platform.
