About This Course
The Euro American Institute Master of Business Administration (MBA) is an MQF/EQF Level 7 qualification designed to develop advanced knowledge and practical capabilities in strategic management, leadership and business decision-making. The programme is intended for aspiring and practising managers, leaders, entrepreneurs and business professionals who want to strengthen their ability to operate in complex and changing organisational environments.
The curriculum combines strategic human resource management, leadership, supply chain planning and analytics, accounting and financial management, entrepreneurship, consumer behaviour, marketing and applied business research. Learners develop analytical, leadership, communication and research skills while applying business concepts to contemporary organisational challenges.
The MBA carries 90 ECTS and 2,250 total learning hours. The full-time programme duration is 1.5 years, with a part-time route of 3 years. The programme is delivered in English and is approved by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority (MFHEA).
Am I eligible for this programme?
Applicants are expected to meet the following entry requirements:
- Hold a recognised Bachelor's degree or MQF Level 6 full qualification with a minimum overall score of 55%, equivalent to a GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0-point scale, or higher.
- Applicants from any academic discipline may apply, provided they can demonstrate appropriate motivation and potential for business leadership.
- Professional experience, preferably in a management or leadership role, is advantageous but is not mandatory.
- Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency where required. Accepted evidence includes IELTS 6.5, TOEFL, TOEIC, PTE or Duolingo scores at the levels published by EAI.
- English language testing may be waived for native English speakers and applicants who completed relevant prior education in English.
- Learners should have basic digital competence, including familiarity with computers, the internet and common software applications.

Module Listing
All eight modules are compulsory. The taught modules carry 10 ECTS each, while the Business Research Project carries 20 ECTS, giving a total of 90 ECTS.
1. Strategic Human Resource Management
10 ECTS
This module develops the ability to manage human capital strategically. Learners explore recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations and the alignment of HR practices with organisational objectives to improve workforce and business performance.
2. Strategic Leadership and Management
10 ECTS
This module develops advanced leadership and strategic management capabilities for complex organisational environments. Learners examine vision development, strategic planning, decision-making, leadership styles, organisational performance, change and innovation.
3. Supply Chain Planning, Modelling and Analytics
10 ECTS
This module provides in-depth knowledge of planning processes across key areas of supply chain management. Learners explore information requirements, modelling approaches and analytical techniques used to improve supply chain planning, performance and decision-making.
4. Accounting & Financial Management
10 ECTS
This module develops advanced understanding of financial planning, analysis and management. Learners explore accounting principles, strategic financial planning, investment analysis, budgeting, financial risk and the use of financial information to support business objectives and sustainable decision-making.
5. Entrepreneurship and Innovation
10 ECTS
This module explores enterprise creation, entrepreneurial strategy and innovation in local and global contexts. Learners examine business competitiveness, funding opportunities, venture capital and the role of financial markets in supporting the development and growth of entrepreneurial ventures.
6. Consumer Behaviour and Market Communications
10 ECTS
This module develops theoretical and practical understanding of the factors that influence individual and organisational consumer behaviour. Learners examine decision-making, motivation, cultural and societal influences, consumer research and how these insights inform customer value and marketing communications.
7. Contemporary Issues and Principles of Marketing
10 ECTS
This module examines contemporary marketing challenges and the application of marketing principles in different organisational contexts. Learners consider emerging trends and strategic marketing approaches and apply their knowledge to the development of an actionable marketing plan.
8. Business Research Project
20 ECTS
This module enables learners to apply advanced research skills to a real-world business problem. Learners develop research methodologies, undertake data collection and statistical analysis, interpret findings and produce a substantial dissertation that demonstrates evidence-based business decision-making.
Written Assignments
Assessment combines written assignments, presentations, examinations, case study analysis, group projects and a final dissertation. The approved programme structure identifies the following assessment pattern:
- Strategic Human Resource Management: 50% HRM Plan assignment, 30% presentation and 20% examination.
- Strategic Leadership and Management: 50% assignment, 30% presentation and 20% examination.
- Supply Chain Planning, Modelling and Analytics: 50% assignment, 30% presentation and 20% examination.
- Accounting & Financial Management: 50% assignment, 30% presentation and 20% examination.
- Entrepreneurship and Innovation: 40% assignment, 30% group presentation and 30% case study analysis.
- Consumer Behaviour and Market Communications: 30% presentation, 30% case study analysis and 40% Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Survey group project.
- Contemporary Issues and Principles of Marketing: 30% presentation, 30% case study analysis and 40% Marketing Plan Development group project.
- Business Research Project: 100% dissertation.
Because the programme uses several different forms of assessment, the specification does not support describing the MBA as a fixed number of written assignments only. Learners are assessed across all eight compulsory modules using the assessment methods stated above.
University Progression
Successful completion of the Master of Business Administration provides a Level 7 postgraduate qualification and can support progression to doctoral-level study, including Doctorate in Business Administration or other relevant Level 8 research and professional doctorate programmes. Admission to a particular doctoral programme remains subject to the entry requirements and admissions decision of the receiving institution.
The MBA also includes formal exit qualifications. Learners who successfully complete 30 ECTS may be eligible for the Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration, while learners completing 60 ECTS may be eligible for the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration, in accordance with EAI requirements.
