Job Title: Marketing Executive

Overview

Mortha Halls of Ivy is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Executive to join our team. The Marketing Executive will play a key role in promoting the college brand and its courses, engaging with prospective and current learners, and implementing various marketing strategies to enhance the college's presence in the community and online.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create awareness of and develop the brand of the college and its courses through strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Communicate with prospective and current learners to build and develop positive relationships.
  • Assist in developing marketing plans, advertising strategies, and direct marketing campaigns to reach target audiences effectively.
  • Source advertising opportunities and place adverts on social media platforms and through email marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with in-house or external creative agencies to design marketing materials such as brochures, leaflets, and pull-up stands.
  • Write and proofread marketing documents for both online and print campaigns, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Produce creative content, including videos and blog posts, to engage with the college's target audience.
  • Manage and run social media channels to promote college events, courses, and achievements.
  • Organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions, exhibitions, and educational fairs to promote the college.
  • Source and secure sponsorship for promotional events of the college to enhance brand visibility.
  • Liaise with designers, printers, and photographers to coordinate marketing activities and ensure high-quality materials.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the education sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong creative and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management and email marketing software.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
